My org, BlueDot Impact, is hiring too! We want to build a cracked AI governance talent pipeline to in the future fill all these roles with top talent fast.

Your mission: Figure out what governance-y shaped knowledge/skill/intervention is needed to make AI go well, then build the workforce to make it happen. You’ll have total autonomy to run programs (courses, bootcamps, whatever moves the needle) to train top talent and place them in critical roles.

This is a high-agency role with real influence on AI's trajectory. You'll work with an excellent team in an impact-first culture. Competitive comp (110-160k USD), strong benefits, and all the resources you need to succeed.

We're looking to hire 1-3 people asap. Flexible on seniority - we care more about your ability to ship than years of experience.

Email joshua@bluedot.org if you know someone perfect for this - or if that's you.

This is great! For the roles you are hiring, do you weigh research experience or policy experience more heavily?

We don't have a fixed preference - it really depends on what gaps we have on the team at any given time. Sometimes we need more research depth, sometimes more policy chops. We try to build a balanced team overall rather than optimizing for one skill set over the other.

Any tips on how best to contribute some time & money while keeping another job?

(Currently working on product. I would prefer to transition to work on safety. But I don't want to subject my family to such a large pay cut)

Sure thing, will include IAPS when planning our donations this year.

Btw the IAPS website should probably include the donations page in the nav ux. Took me a while to find it down there in the footer.
